These Terms of Service (the “ToS”) apply to the usage of the Platform (defined below) and the services offered by AI Academia (“AI Academia,” “we,” or “us”), a Sole Proprietor company incorporated under the laws of India, with its registered office at Kolkata Sector V. AI Academia conducts business under the brand "AI Academia." These ToS apply mutatis mutandis to mobile apps, WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, Instagram pages, Facebook pages, email/SMS/phone communications, and other communication forums/media hosted¹ by AI Academia, all of which are deemed part of the Platform (defined below). You are deemed to have accepted these ToS upon using AI Academia Services (defined below). The terms in our privacy policy available at https://aiacademia.in/pages/privacy-policy (the “Privacy Policy”) and any other AI Academia policy are incorporated into these ToS by this reference. Your acceptance irrevocably and unconditionally binds you to comply with all obligations and conditions herein (unless explicitly made optional). You are assumed to continue consenting to these ToS until you explicitly withdraw consent by notifying AI Academia in writing. If an executed agreement exists between you and AI Academia regarding the AI Academia Services, any ToS deviations apply only when explicitly agreed in writing by both parties. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL CONDITIONS/CLAUSES IN THESE TOS, DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES.

Updation of Terms

We may update, amend, modify, or revise these ToS from time to time. We will communicate any such changes to you via email, the Website, or other media. Your continued use of the AI Academia Services after changes constitutes your consent. We encourage you to review these ToS periodically to ensure you are aware of any additions, revisions, amendments, or modifications.

Service(s) provided to Users

AI Academia allows users to access various computer science training programs designed for undergraduates and professionals, including e.g., Python, Java, Data Science, Full Stack Web Development or any other program or application AI Academia introduces (collectively, “Service(s)” or “AI Academia Service(s),” each a “Program”). AI Academia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to add, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the AI Academia Services at any time. Your continued use of AI Academia Services after changes (including adding or removing features) constitutes acceptance. Information you provide for registering and setting up your account (as specified below) must be accurate, complete, and updated. You are solely responsible for activity on your account (including others authorized to access and operate it) and maintaining its security and any information you input. We are not responsible for the accuracy or legitimacy of information, data, or User Data uploaded or posted on the Platform. Unless you notify us of unauthorized access, you are solely responsible for all actions/defaults related to your account when accessed with correct login credentials. In consideration of your acceptance of these ToS and any applicable subscription agreement (or similar agreement) between you and AI Academia, AI Academia grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, limited license to access and use the Platform² and Services according to the ToS.

Access to AI Academia resources

During your time with AI Academia, you will have access to various resources. Access policies may vary.

• Recordings: We guarantee access to recordings for 3 months after completing your last mandatory class (subject to the terms herein, including termination).
• Mentors: You have mentor guidance throughout your chosen program. Live session access is not perpetual and ends after the last mandatory class.
• TA Support: TA support is available throughout your AI Academia journey, even during course pauses. You can also seek help from the community in Discord/WhatsApp groups (Disclaimer: AI Academia does not guarantee responses from other learners).
• Community Groups: You retain access to AI Academia-created community groups indefinitely (unless platforms cease to exist).
• Assignments/Notes: You retain access to assignments and notes taken during the AI Academia course indefinitely.
• Career Opportunities: AI Academia learners are connected to job opportunities through community groups, the AI Academia Talent portal, and direct partnerships with companies. Help through the latter channel is not available 3 months after completing your last mandatory class. AI Academia does not guarantee placement/job/internship. See the placement policy document for details.

AI Academia may discontinue resource access for learners who have completed Programs, providing 30 days' notice to download assignments, code, and notes. AI Academia may also withdraw access if you withdraw from the course, breach the ToS, or your account is terminated or suspended.

Course Pause & Reset Feature

Learners can vary their Program pace and workload. The “Pause” feature allows learners in new AI Academia Programs to pause their program. During the pause, access to previous recordings and doubt resolution remains. No new lectures are added. The “Reset” feature allows learners to redo lectures, going back in 30-day increments. Each learner receives 3 complimentary credits for "Pause" and "Reset." One credit allows a pause/reset for up to 30 days. After 90 days from the first class, resetting requires 2 credits. Additional credits are chargeable at an amount determined by AI Academia (currently INR 1,500 per credit), subject to change. AI Academia reserves the right to revise this amount.

Program Change

AI Academia allows one Program Change within 30 days of the first class (“Onboarding” date). This allows migration between AI Academia Programs (e.g., Python to Java). Changes within 10 days of onboarding are free. After 10 days, changes incur a fee: the higher of Delta Fees (difference between program fees) or INR 10,000. No refunds are permitted after a Program Change.

Support

AI Academia offers online support tools. Registered students can contact us via the priority helpline number on their dashboard or email support@aiacademia.in. AI Academia will use reasonable efforts to respond to support requests or fix problems. Suggestions are not warranties.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds, but program changes are possible. To request a change, email support@aiacademia.in with the subject "Request for Program Change." Changes are subject to availability. No refunds are granted for lack of usage or dissatisfaction. Third-party fees are your responsibility. Upon withdrawal, AI Academia resource access is discontinued.

Termination

AI Academia may suspend or terminate your Platform and service access, with or without notice, and exercise other legal remedies if you breach the ToS, AI Academia cannot verify information you provided, or AI Academia suspects illegal, fraudulent, or abusive activity. After suspension or termination, you may not use the Platform under the same, a different, or a new account. AI Academia may destroy/delete your account data at its discretion. All ToS provisions that should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limitations) shall survive.

Registration and Account Integrity

During registration, you must accept the ToS and provide your name, phone number, email ID, and, in some cases, parent/guardian contact information. We will never ask for your password unless you grant explicit written permission for assistance/support. You are responsible for accurate, secure, and non-misleading information. You cannot create an account using (i) another person's information; (ii) trademarks or property of another party; or (iii) vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate words. You agree not to use another User’s account or share yours. You are solely responsible for account activity and must keep your password secure. Notify AI Academia immediately of any security breach or unauthorized use. AI Academia is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use. You are responsible for equipment and ancillary services needed to access the AI Academia Services or Platform, ensuring compatibility and all related charges.

Use of your Information and User Data

User Data you create, transmit, or make available must be information you own or have the right to use. If you transfer personally identifiable information, we assume you have informed the person and obtained consent. We may use this information per our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. While we strive for persistent data storage, we are not responsible for third-party server failures or factors outside our control that may cause data loss.

Third Party Links and Services

We use third-party service providers and may share User Data as necessary. We will ensure providers adhere to confidentiality and data privacy obligations. The Platform may contain third-party website links. AI Academia is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these websites.

Rules and Acceptable Usage Policy

You agree not to use the AI Academia Services for any prohibited purpose. The AI Academia Services and Content are for personal, non-commercial use. Notify us immediately of any User breaching these terms or policies.

While using the Platform, you shall not:

• Harass any third party.
• Create a hostile atmosphere or behave inappropriately.
• Use unethical methods during assignments, tests, or exams.
• Share AI Academia Content or login credentials.
• Share solutions or use unfair methods to complete evaluations.

Furthermore, you shall not: (i) impose an unreasonable load on AI Academia's infrastructure; (ii) interfere with the Platform; (iii) bypass security measures; (iv) modify the AI Academia Services or Platform; or (v) copy, rent, or transfer any part of the Platform or AI Academia Content unless permitted.

AI Academia may terminate your account for breaching this policy. Rewards are at AI Academia
